The International Trade Administration (TITA), under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), has launched the 2025 “Go Healthy with Taiwan” initiative, a worldwide call for innovative health proposals. Commissioned by TITA and executed by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), this initiative seeks to promote international collaboration by integrating Taiwan’s premium health products and technologies into global wellness solutions.
Unveiled during the official launch event on June 3, the campaign underscores Taiwan’s commitment to global health advancement. TITA Deputy Director General Susan Hu emphasized the government’s broader vision for a “Healthy Taiwan,” calling this initiative a vital step toward international cooperation.
Joe Chou, Executive Vice President of TAITRA, stated that the campaign exemplifies Taiwan’s strength in the health industry and its role as a partner in developing sustainable, tech-driven wellness solutions.
The event, themed “Pitching Taiwan’s Best: A Home Run for Proposals!”, creatively transformed the venue into a baseball stadium. Renowned Taiwanese baseball star An-Ko Lin and Fu Bear, the Taiwan Excellence mascot, made symbolic “home runs,” representing Taiwan’s drive to hit global health goals out of the park.
The campaign focuses on five core areas: smart healthcare, wellness and medical aesthetics, fitness equipment, sports technology, and the bicycle industry—where Taiwan remains a global leader. With last year’s “Go Green with Taiwan” campaign attracting 396 entries from 45 countries, the 2025 edition aims for over 500 submissions from across the globe.
Winning proposals will receive US$30,000 each, with high-potential ideas given opportunities for collaboration and commercialization with Taiwanese enterprises.
Submissions are open from May 15 to August 14, 2025.
